Niandra was once a hub of art, culture and language. It was the crossroad of the Voltang system. One year on Niandra was equivalent to 87 Earth years and as such, few saw two years pass. It followed then that the celebration of a new year had to be the biggest and most spectacular in the system. Tens of thousands travelled across the galaxy for these monumental, mega city-wide festivals that accepted all whom wished to partake in any form. They were celebrations of love and life. They were a reminder to all that time in this dimension is short, and must be enjoyed.

Along the Wind Spear is a mystical journey of atmospheric melodies that float in a coat of nostalgic sheen. It is poetry via found 70's summer camp polaroids via distorted washes of detuned synths. Although not a Boards Of Canada copyist, Survey Channel is the kind of artist you want to seek out while BoC takes another ten years to come up with a follow up album. fran3000

A serene journey into the mystery, wonder, and beauty of the natural world. What is particularly ear-catching is Willebrant’s use of these texture-laden field recordings as both the basis of and transition between each track in order to create an immersive experience. Fringes of Sound
